Case Study – Indian School of Business, Hyderabad

ISB – The Indian School of Business is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world. ISB was promoted by some of the biggest industrialists and thinkers in the world. eYantra is today one of the prime partners in the success story that is ISB. eYantra was invited to contribute its ideas on making the merchandise store launch event a huge success. After an extensive brainstorming session at ISB with teams from Mckinsey and Wharton, eYantra presented its proposals.

The principal suggestion was that ISB should create a set of branded products that enhance the corporate value of ISB. From T shirts to Caps, from Bags to Mementoes, eYantra created a new line of unique merchandise, all portraying the ISB logo. This was comparable to US business schools merchandising practices. All the new students, speakers, guests and even the Prime Minister of India who inaugurated the ISB, received a set of the entire merchandise. A really proud day for everyone at eYantra.

Biological E is a large pharmaceutical formulations Company based in Hyderabad. When they hired eYantra to design a solution for one of their product launches, eYantra presented a unique promotional idea. Since Fengshui was becoming a well accepted concept, eYantra strategized on it and linked it to the marketing of the product concept. A series of Fengshui products like Frog, Laughing man, Wiseman, Dragon... were custom made for BE and then distributed to members of the medical fraternity. A high level of brand awareness and an active emotional involvement on the part of the Doctors helped the brand to become very popular in a very short time.

Case Study – Zuari Cement Ltd.

Zuari Cement is one of India's largest cement manufacturers with operations across the country.

Zuari Cement needed to communicate the superior quality of its product to the people who actually use the cement i.e. Masons and Engineers and get them to endorse the product.

After a detailed market study, eYantra identified the opinion leaders at different levels in the Construction business and designed products that appeal to them.

At the planning and designing phase it is the Architects and Engineers. During the actual construction phase it was the contractors and masons. While at a trade level it was the Distributors and Dealers.

eYantra's challenge was to devise unique merchandising gifting solutions, which would be functional while at the same time represent the quality value proposition of the Client.

eYantra designed and developed high quality leather set accessories for the Architects, Engineers, Distributors and Dealers. And Masons were given a specially designed kit which comprised of a Flatter, Leveler, Measuring Tape, Shovel etc along with T shirts and Caps. The Zuari branded merchandise was much sought after and created a very positive feel for the brand.

Case Study – Kings XI Punjab.

Kings XI Punjab is a Mohali, Punjab based franchise of the Indian Premier League started in 2008.

A major part of any IPL season is the Merchandize that goes along with it. Fans eagerly seek to possess these merchandizing products and show their support for their teams.

Kings XI Punjab was looking for a Merchandising partner who could design the non-Jersey range of merchandising products.

The challenge faced by eYantra was in designing the merchandize keeping in mind two very important demographic profiles - the youth and the Punjabi ethos.

The Promotional Merchandise: eYantra came up with a range of products that would reflect the local element on the one hand while at the same time be high on the design value:
